Contact form. When you send a message through this site, we collect the name, email address and message you provide, along with the enquiry type if you select one. This is used only to respond to you — it is not shared with third parties or used for marketing.

Comments. If commenting is enabled on a post, submitting a comment collects your name and email (or your logged-in identity, if applicable) and the comment text. Comments are moderated before appearing publicly.

Automatically collected data. Like most websites, our server logs basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use this to build a profile of you.

This site does not currently load any analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes — for example, if we connect a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand how visitors use the site — this page will be updated first, and any non-essential tracking will only load after you consent to it.

Some strictly necessary technical cookies may be used to keep the site functioning correctly (for example, remembering a form submission was successful). These don't identify you personally and can't be disabled without breaking basic site functionality.

Contact form submissions and comments are retained only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry or moderate the comment, and are deleted or anonymized after that unless you've asked us to keep the conversation on file. You can request deletion of your data at any time — see "Your choices" below.

We don't sell or rent your information. It's only shared with the infrastructure providers that host this site and store its data (e.g. our cloud server and object storage provider), and only as needed to operate the site — never for their own marketing purposes.

If you purchase a book through a retailer linked from this site, that transaction is handled entirely by the retailer (or PlenorHub, our commerce partner) under their own privacy policy — we don't see or store your payment details.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
